In the UK, I was an AirBnB Superhost at The Vintage Bakery in Worcestershire. I thoroughly enjoyed welcoming visitors to my home and made many friends. I offered a sunny bedroom overlooking a beautiful garden which I had taken great care to decorate with taste. My guests enjoyed a personal welcome, great service and a stylish breakfast. I was able to guide my visitors to all the best tourist attractions, gardens, walks, shops and eateries in the region, and sometimes spent the day driving them around. I am looking forward to welcoming visitors to my new home in the Dordogne, with its 1001 chateaux and forested landscapes.

‘Lottie’s place is a fantastic place for a country getaway! Lottie was so sweet, kind and helpful and her house is stunning. Definitely the most beautiful Airbnb we have seen so far. I would recommend a stay here to anyone. We were very sad that we only had time to spend one night!’ Alice and Sam, Auckland, New Zealand, July 2019.
"What a gem of a place. Charlotte’s house is quirky, fun and stylish and she and her son make you feel extremely welcome. The village is lovely and she spoils you with lots of thoughtful little touches. Worth making a long detour for." Stephen, London, May 2019
"Perfection! Every detail in my experience of being a guest at Lottie’s was so well thought couldn’t have been a sweeter welcome, a more beautiful and interesting artistic home. Lottie has it all in spades! She is not to be missed. I felt like an old friend when I left her. Her gardens are FANTASTIC. Everywhere you look, there are visual delights. Breakfast was top notch and her kitchen was storybook material! If you can, book a few nights. I left after one night as I was on my way north but I would have gladly stayed for 4 nights at least. Lottie is a very dear host who intuits your needs and with such fine discernment. I adored every moment. Finally, I can give you the glowing account you deserve! You made my first day in England so sweet, special and your great discernment meant you anticipated all that would make me feel at home. Our walk with baby in such a beautiful river area was far better than anything I could have planned to feel revived and lifelike again. I just can’t tell you how gifted you are in this line of “work” - you are truly a beautiful soul Lottie and easily one of the biggest pleasures of this trip!" Jackie, Wisconsin, May 2019
'‘The welcome you receive when staying somewhere is as important as the place itself - and at Charlotte's house they were wonderful in equal measure. Charlotte is a delightful, warm and kind host; we were both received the warmest hospitality from her and her son Tom (who also cooked our great breakfast). I would have loved to have stayed longer, and our stay here really meant that our brief holiday trip finished on a high. The house (a bibliophile's paradise) is an aesthetic experience in itself: it is truly beautiful, immaculate and stylish, and, although you are very much aware that you are staying in someone's home, you really feel a part of it. That is all down to Charlotte (and Tom) and a huge credit to them." Christopher, East Calder, September 2018.
